2017 Hillside to Hollow Mowing

The City of Boise manages 258 acres directly adjacent to 58 acres owned by the Land Trust of Treasure Valley and combined, these two parcels create large protected open space area in the central foothills that citizens call “Hillside to the Hollow.” Hillside to Hollow is dominated by dense stands of cereal rye, 22 acres were mowed in June 2017 to reduce hazardous fuels.
