2017 Hulls Gulch Thinning

The City of Boise continues fuel reduction projects started in Hulls Gulch in 2016! In 2017, we mowed cereal rye populations and removed dead and downed woody debris near lower Hulls Gulch parking lot; heading northeast up Owl's Roost Trail towards the Foothills Learning Center. Contractors also eliminated woody fuels adjacent to 9th Street to reduce to the risk of wildfire to the nearby community.
